He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Richard Stanley Strausbaugh and Carolyn Ann (Youngblood); his aunt Patricia Southard; his sisters, Linda Kaye Strausbaugh, Lisa Evans and Sussan Brummer; and his siblings' children, Carolynn Evans, Shannon Evans, Gabrielle Brummer, Richard Trent, Justin Cheeks, Brandyn Evans and Noah Brummer. He was also cherished by 5 grand nieces and nephews.
