It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Diane Marie Turchetta of Frederick, Maryland, born in Altoona, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 1, 2025, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Myra Jean Emerick Turchetta and Arthur Charles Turchetta. She is survived by: her significant other Susan Penney; her sister Kelle Massimilla; her brother-in-law John Massimilla; her sibling's children, Kristin Burke (Aaron), Sara Koser (Dex) and Brian Massimilla (Paige); and her friends, Maria "Mia" Stephens and Jayne Thompson. She is also survived by her nieces, nephew and their children.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home (106 E Church St, Frederick, MD 21701). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Homes (106 E Church St, Frederick, MD 21701).
