As Donna departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Donna. Though Donna may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Bovello and Betty Bovello. She is survived by: her husband George "Danny" Jones; her sister Joyce Bovello of Frederick, MD; and her sons, Joseph "Jody" Jones (Donna) of Dowelltown, TN and James "Jamie" Jones (Crystal) of Keymar, MD..
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ritchie Chapel (14304 Castle Dr, Fort Ritchie, MD 21719). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Donna's memory to The Maryland Equine Transition (MET) Foundation – Rock Creek Park Horse Center, in recognition of her lifelong love for horses and dedication to the equestrian community.
