He was predeceased by: his parents, José Domingo Mendoza and Joaquina Álvarez. He is survived by: his wife Rosa América; his children, Ivon, Doug Jr., Monica and Henry; his grandchildren, Aileen, David, Henry Jr. and Alex; and his sisters, Gloria Gallo and Gladys Mendoza. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
