It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elise G. Campbell of Frederick, Maryland, who passed away on September 25, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Elise G. Campbell to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Lewis E.; her grandson Daniel Lewis Burkett; and her parents, Michael Hofmann and Albina Hofmann. She is survived by: her children, Barbara Campbell, Scott Campbell (Val), Sandra Campbell, Brian Campbell and Tracy Morris (Jeff); her grandson Dustin Burkett; her great grandchildren, Taylor Nicole Burkett and Katelyn Elise Burkett; and her brother Rolfe.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Homes (106 E Church St, Frederick, MD 21701). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mount Olivet Cemetery (515 S Market St, Frederick, MD 21701).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Frederick County Humane Society or to Frederick County Hospice.
