He was predeceased by: his parents, Mead Adolphus Bailey and Adele Cabiness Bailey; his wife Gloria Z. Bailey; his daughter Dr. Thomasina L. Bailey; and his siblings, Adolphus M. Bailey, William D. Cabiness, Emily Lee Morse, Mattie T. Bailey and Annie L. Dickerson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Adele Bailey and Anita Bailey-Sinkler; and his son-in-law Robert Sinkler. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, church family and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the First Missionary Baptist Church (6430 Jefferson Pike, Frederick, MD 21703). A burial was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at the Resthaven Memorial Gardens (9501 Catoctin Mountain Hwy, Frederick, MD 21701).
