He is survived by: his wife Ethel Minerva Hann Whisner; his daughter Sally Whisner (Samantha Hoague) of New Market; his granddaughter Abigail Hoague of Frederick; his great grandchild Sarah Hoague of Frederick; his son Guy David Whisner of Virginia; and his sister-in-law Betty Hann Miller of Frederick. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
