She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Twyman Turner and Cassie Audrey Kelso (Turner); her daughters, June Carlita Beale (Brown) and Aretha Zelphania Lee (Brown); her siblings, Margie Elizabeth Hancock, Dorothy Lee Scruggs, Clarence Edward Turner and Clyde Walker Turner; and her grandson DuJan O'Neal Brown.
She is survived by: her husband James Saxon of Hagerstown, Maryland; her children, Kim McLean (Keith) of Hagerstown and Thomas O. Brown (Cindy) of Abilene, Texas; her stepdaughter Janice Dorsey (Thomas) of Baltimore, Maryland; her siblings, Geraldine Jones (Eddie) of Upper Marlboro, Maryland and Ronald Turner of Appomattox, Virginia; and her grandchildren, Dalonte Branison (Jessica), Julius Steele (Binta), Tyrone Horsey, Asha Kabirou (Mohamadou), Keosha Gaither, Matthew Brown (Ceteria), Bria McLean, Darnell Brown, Christopher Brown, TJ Thomas Brown Jr. and Ashley Brown. She is also survived by great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
