He was predeceased by: his mother Shirley Ann Bass; his brother Thomas Bass, Jr.; and his son Heston Bass, Jr.. He is survived by: his father Thomas Charles Bass, Sr.; his wife Vera Lynn Bass; his daughters, Zione Bass and Octavia Naylor; his granddaughters, Erin Bass and Phynix Dorsey; his siblings, Imogene Smith, Kenyetta Jones (Darryl) of Toledo Ohio, Melissa Jackson of Michigan and Antonio Waits (Deandre Hill); his aunt Iris Ford; his stepmother Norma Bass; his mother-in-law Delores Hall (Kirk); and his siblings' children, Shania, Lanique and Anntay. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
