He was predeceased by: his parents, Auburn Atkins and Ione Atkins; his sister Susan; and his niece Amy. He is survived by: his brother Tom Atkins; his wife Heidi; his children, Scott (Aegina) and Christiane (Matthew); and his grandchildren, Isabella Montequin, Annika Atkins, Lilliana Montequin and Gavin Atkins. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
