It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ida Knode Boyd (Frederick, Maryland), who passed away on June 11, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar H. Michael and Flora E. Wachter Michael; her husband Milton R. Boyd; and her siblings, Fannie Mehaffie, Alva Michael (Bud), Hattie Bender, Ruth Rice, Betty Blank, Mary Knott, Charles Michael and Mildred Cline.
She is survived by: her daughter Penny Dickensheets (Michael T.); and her great grandchildren, Camden and Teagan Herald.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Braddock Lutheran Church (6938 N Clifton Rd, Frederick, MD 21702). A burial will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at the Ketoctin Baptist Church Cemetery (16595 Ketoctin Church Rd, Purcellville, VA 20132).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Ida's memory be made to Braddock Lutheran Church or The Record Street Home Endowment Fund, 115 Record St., Frederick, MD 21701.
