He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Edgar Baker and Ruth Esther Engler Baker; his sister Eleanor Engler Baker; and his daughter Barbara Murphy (John). He is survived by: his wife Eleanor King Baker; his children, Pamela Doring (Vincent), Vincent Baker (Kimberly) and Janet Land (Stephen); his grandchildren, James Dutton, Lauren Doring, Madison, Merideth and Allison Baker; his children, Michael, Christine Murphy, Genevieve and Natalie Land; and his close friends, Rod Poole, Tommy Geiser, Richard Grossnickle, Carlos Glisan, Malcolm Hoff (Bud) and Donald Toms.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hartzler Funeral Home (11802 Liberty Rd, Frederick, MD 21701). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 11:55 AM at the Linganore Cemetery (8921 Clemsonville Rd, Union Bridge, MD 21791).
