With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janet Lee Cameron of Frederick, Maryland, who passed away on April 29, 2026 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Janet has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Woodrow Wilson Poffenberger and Onda Margaret Poffenberger (Faulders); and her husband James Ellis Cameron. She is survived by: her children, James Christopher Cameron and Amy Janelle Jones; and her brother Donald Poffenberger (Yvonne). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
