He was predeceased by: his father John Alexander Baker, Sr.; his grandparents, Rhonda Estelle Staub Baker, John Lewis Baker, Leona Mae Green Toms and LeRoy Eyster Toms; and his brother-in-law Robert E. Toms, Sr..
He is survived by: his mother Eva Ruth Baker; his son Alexander Baker, III; his sister Vickey Toms; and his sibling's children, Robert E. Toms, Jr. (Mary Ann) and Brenda L. Lenhart (David). He is also survived by eight grandnieces and nephews and 17 great-grandnieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Keeney & Basford Funeral Homes (106 E Church St, Frederick, MD 21701). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Resthaven Memorial Gardens (9501 Catoctin Mountain Hwy, Frederick, MD 21701).
