She was predeceased by: her husband Gordon Tazwell Jenkins; her parents, Austin Nelson and Helen Louise Steinhaus (Hamilton); her son Kevin Wayne Jenkins; her son-in-law Raymond Gainey Jr.; her granddaughter Emily Jenkins; and her brother William Henry Steinhaus.
She is survived by: her children, Charles A. "Chuck" Jenkins of Frederick County, Gary L. Jenkins (Donna) of Frederick County, Diane M. Lease (Donnie) of Frederick County and Lisa Jenkins Gainey of Society Hill, S. C.; and her cousin Carolyn Hamilton.
In lieu of flower the family is requesting contributions be made to Frederick Health Hospice at 1 Frederick Health Way in Frederick, to help in providing the same vital support to other families.
