Karen Brown Carpenter Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 9, 2025, Karen Brown Carpenter (Frederick, Maryland) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Patrick. She is survived by: her daughters, Paula Pike (Grayson) of Lynn, IN and Jennifer Effler (Robert) of Brunswick, MD; her grandchildren, Rachel Cullen (James), Garrett Pike (Lexie), Zachary Pike, Robert Effler II and Crystal Foles (Shawn); and her sisters, Joy Swensen (Stephen), Jill Butler (Steven) and Jan Livingston. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins as well as lifelong friends.
