She was predeceased by: her parents, John Canty Dempsey and Helena Elizabeth Dempsey (Duhan); her father-in-law Joseph Borek; and her nephew Nathan Borek. She is survived by: her husband Gregory Stephen Borek; her children, Travus Gregory Borek of Longmont, Colorado, Jordan Joseph Borek of Leadville, Colorado, Madeline Kathleen Shaw (Tyler) of Thurmont, Maryland and Johnathan Canty Borek of Leadville, Colorado.; her grandchildren, Lenora and Judah; her sisters, Mary Simons (Christine Ryan), Carol Ann Coffman (Bernadette Dempsey) and Suzanne Dempsey (John Mark Dempsey); her brother-in-law Kevin Borek (Lisa); and her mother-in-law Helen Borek. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
