He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Verbeek and Antoinette Verbeek (Overbeek); his stepson Brett Winters; and his niece Aimee VerBeek Brown. He is survived by: his wife Lucinda "Cindy" Verbeek; his children, Julia Chorny (Ryan) and Travis VerBeek; his stepson Samuel Winters; and his siblings, Dan Verbeek (Michele) of Statesboro, GA, Vicki Ball Vagabonds (Doug) and Shelley VanderMuelen (Bill) of Florida. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren.
