She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Charles Krietz Jr. (Charlie); her sons, Charles (Laura) and Cory (Whitney); her grandchildren, Ethan, Brynlee, Emma and Blakely; and her parents, Ed Mercer and Belva Mercer. She was also cherished by her husband, children, grandchildren, family, friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Stauffer Funeral Home (1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD 21702).
In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to the ABC Junior Fund, 400 N. East Street, Frederick, MD 21701. The family will use the donations to help support and provide for the youth of Frederick County at the Great Frederick Fair.
