It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Storme Starkey of Frederick, Maryland, born in Bellows Falls, Vermont, who passed away on August 21, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Harry Starkey, Jr.; her parents, Rodney Gale and Bernice Sabins (Gale); and her siblings, Dodge Gale and Shawn Bisson (Gale).
She is survived by: her son Christopher Todd Starkey (Carrie Elizabeth); her grandsons, Nicholas Taylor and Samuel Cooper of Waynesboro, PA; her daughter Rebecca Ann (Charles Leroy Highbarger, Jr) of Waynesboro, PA; her grandchildren, Makenzie Grace of Thorndale, PA and Kassidy Paige of Greencastle, PA; and her sisters, Sherri Casella Wilson (Sabins) of Brattleboro, VT and Jana Labbe (Gale) of Spofford, NH. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
