He was predeceased by: his parents, Lones Purkey and Helen Purkey. He is survived by: his wife Sherry; and his siblings, Bob, Wayne Purkey and Shirley.
Viewing will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home (106 E Church St, Frederick, MD 21701). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
