She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. Albert M. Zelna; her parents, Walter Yazinski and Cecelia Henzes Yazinski; and her sister Cecelia Kempter. She is survived by: her children, Patricia Verdin (Peter), Jeffrey Zelna (Shelley), Rebecca Cerrone (Fred), Amy Durdon (David) and Emily Watts (Rick). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Frederick County Alzheimer's Association, 108 Bytle Drive, Suite 103, Frederick, MD 21702.
