She is survived by: her children, Clifton Bowens, Sr. (Michelle) of Hagerstown, Lamont Bowens (Emily) of Hagerstown, Michael Bowens (Crystal) of Frederick, Alvin Bowens (Donna) of Frederick, Shirley Jackson (Quentin) of Frederick and Caroline Thomas (David) of Frederick; her sisters, Florence Ragland of Hagerstown, Kathleen Ragland of Frederick and Catherine Schaffer of Baltimore; and her nieces, Carla and Paula Schaffer of Baltimore. She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren, family and friends.
