It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary M. Loy (Frederick, Maryland), who passed away on June 5, 2025, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Haifleigh and Bertha Haifleigh; her grandparents, Josiah and Ellen Crum (Etzler); her husband S. Ralph Loy; her niece Nancy Styers (Daniel) of Woodsboro, MD; her cousins, Harriet Loose of Gettysburg, Patsy Zeigler and Clarence Crum; her son David; and also, Donald Loy (Lorraine), Malcolm (Hattie Smith), Raymond (Sylvia), Earnest (Alice) and Mary Catherine (Lawrence).
She is survived by: her daughter Tricia; her daughter-in-law Tammy; her grandson John (Felicia); her great grandchild Josiah; and her grandchildren, James (Abigail Sargant-Loy) of Connecticut, Molly Elizabeth (Robert) of South Dakota, Joseph David of Boulder Colorado and Helen Virginia of Taneytown.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hartzler Funeral Home (404 S Main St, Frederick, MD 21798). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Chapel Lutheran Church (11109 Daysville Rd, Frederick, MD 21701).
