He was predeceased by: his grandchild Morganne Lofland; and his parents, Frantz Pugh and Eva Pugh. He is survived by: his wife Linda Pugh; his siblings, Rebecca (Lee Sanders), Randy Pugh, Brad Pugh (Lynn Pugh) and Robert Pugh; his children, Michael Van Pugh Jr. and Shelly Pugh (Thomas Clagett); his grandchildren, Ryanne Givens (Max Givens), Matthew Pugh (Leah Pugh) and Peytyn Lofland (Owen VanDeventer); and his great grandchildren, Ronan, Paris and Misha Givens.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 12th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. John's the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church (118 E 2nd St, Frederick, MD 21701).
Remembrances may be made in the form of a donation to the Frederick County Humane Society, 1786 N Market Street, Frederick, MD 21701.
