She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Arcenio Colon and Olive Jefferies; her husband Eddie; her daughters, Cheryl Pearce (Bill) and Cindi Cook; and her sisters-in-law, Ruby and Jane. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Walkersville United Methodist Church (22 Main St, Walkersville, MD 21793).
