Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Nancy Rose for her warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Mahon and Rose Mahon (Gottschalk); and her sister Mary Lou Reed. She is survived by: her husband Rev. Michael E. Leftwich; her sons, Mark Leftwich of Green Valley and Jeremy Leftwich (Susan) of New Market; and her grandchildren, Jacob Leftwich and Elisabeth Leftwich. She is also survived by five nephews and five nieces.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hartzler Funeral Home (11802 Liberty Rd, Frederick, MD 21701). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. She continued attending church until the pandemic.
