With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nathan W. Putnam of Frederick, Maryland, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 26, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Nathan leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Nathan may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Nathan W. and Mary D. Putnam (Higgins). He is survived by: his wife Susan Parker Putnam; and his daughters, Alison Putnam (Steve Provoncha) of Rockville, MD and Kathy Putnam of South Hadley, MA..
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made in Nate's name to support the Ukrainian people through United Help Ukraine, or a similar charity, or to benefit veterans and first responders through Hero Dogs in Brookeville, MD.
