He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Ann Smith; his son Glenn T. Smith; and his parents, Jesse Leroy Smith, Sr. and Mary Smith (Rice). He is survived by: his children, Gregory T. Smith (Julie), Laurie D. Smith and Charles T. Smith (Rachel); his sister Linda Sweeney Lochner (Mel); his sisters-in-law, Beverly Phebus and Myra Cahill; his grandchildren, Ryan (Jodie), Garrett (Amanda), Dylan, Ryley and Ava; his great grandchildren, Arabella and Theodore; and his aunts, Betty Shuff and Hilda Schildt. He is also survived by cousins and many nieces and nephews.
