She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert B. Merryman and Alma G. Karn Merryman; her husband Yarnell P. Wastler; her sister Mary Louise Lewis; and her niece Lisa Cline.
She is survived by: her children, Shari Wastler, Sandy Wastler Eberly (Tom), Brian Wastler (Jan) and Brad Wastler (Faye); her grandchildren, Nicholas Cook (Debbie), Greg High (Nicole), Kara Kirschner (Dan), Wesley Joy, Patrick Wastler (Heather), Bradley Wastler (Cathleen) and Whitney Nusbaum (Marty); her great grandchildren, Kyle High, Randy Cook, Alan Cook, Pansy May Cook, Landen Kirschner, Atley Nusbaum, Leeland Nusbaum, Emmit Wastler and Brinkley Wastler; and her sisters, Libby Adams (Paul) and Brenda Ingram (Richard). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials donations may be made to Lewistown United Methodist Church, 11032 Hessong Bridge Road, Thurmont, MD 21788 in honor of the mission committee to carry on her love of caring for others.
