With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Paula Gilson Hunter (Frederick, Maryland), born in Washington, District of Columbia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 15, 2025 at the age of 89. She was predeceased by: her husband George Terrett Hunter, Jr.; and her daughter Amy Cecilia Norman (Vince Norman). She is survived by: her children, Mary Katherine Freeman (David), George Hunter (Carrie Cross Hunter), Jenny Brenzel (Darryl), Patrick Hunter and Joseph Hunter; her grandchildren, Ray Norman, Katie Freeman Gandharba (Gresom), Connor Freeman and Candice Hines; and her great grandchildren, Lyna Grace, Raya Grace Gandharba, Ellie Hines and Jacob Hines.
A Mass will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church (8428 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD 21702).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Paula's memory to St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church or EWTN Television Station.
