He was predeceased by: his parents, Christopher Brady and Muriel Brady; his former wife Marlene McVeigh; and his siblings, Muriel, Milton and John Brady.
He is survived by: his wife Ellen "Jane" Brady; his children, Steven Brady (Teresa) and Kathleen Brady; his grandchildren, Dane Brady (Morgan), Jacqueline Brady Miller (Steve), Deven Brady, Joseph Fleming (Brogan), Samantha Brady Tate (Adam), Claire and Sydney; his great grandchildren, Theo, James Brady, Noah and Jackson Miller; his stepchildren, Jackie Dinterman (Bob) and Debra Gilbert (Richard); his stepgrandchildren, Allen Etzler (Becky), Jessica Droneburg (Justin), Richie Gilbert (Katie) and Amy Baker (Dustin); his stepgreat-grandchildren, Austin, JD Droneburg, McKenzie, Callen Gilbert and Ryker Baker; and his close friend Doug Chappell. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks those who desire to make a memorial contribution in Richard's name to Frederick Health Hospice, the Walkersville Volunteer Fire Company or the Walkersville Volunteer Rescue Company.
