He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard A. Edwards and Violet L. Smith Edwards; his son Andrew W. Edwards; and his siblings, Tammy Edwards, Ricky and Randy Edwards.
He is survived by: his wife Melinda A. Altman; his daughters, Jennifer L. (Brett Mason) of Massachusetts and Kate L. (Robert Salisbury III) of West Virginia; his grandchildren, Jenavieve R., Noah L., Lucas D. Mason, Lily and Robert Salisbury IV; his sister Theresa (Rick Morgan); his sister-in-law Jane (Harry Bartgis); and his nephews, Ricky (Stacy Korb) and Corey Edwards.
