He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard R. Baumgardner and Roberta V. Baumgardner; and his wife Mary Elizabeth Reedy (Mimi). He is survived by: his daughter Mary Elizabeth (Beth); and his grandsons, Bob (Julie), Tyler and Ryan. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Homes (106 E Church St, Frederick, MD 21701). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Ignatius of Loyola (4103 Prices Distillery Rd, Ijamsville, MD 21754).
