It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Virginia McAfee of Frederick, Maryland, born in Cumberland, Maryland, who passed away on December 9, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy James Reed, Sr. and Anna Mae Reed (Smith); and her stepfather Ernest "Pop" Tipton. She is survived by: her husband Robert L. McAfee; her children, Roxanne Lynn Dolecki (Stephan) and Robert M. McAfee (Zara); her grandchildren, Gwyneth Dolecki, Samantha Dolecki and Dennis McAfee; and her brothers, Roy J. Reed, Jr. and Gerald L. Tipton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or the American Liver Foundation.
