She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter McFarlane and Lucille McFarlane; her husband Conrad Ashley; her siblings, Eileen Usher, Ellesmere Jenkins, Eldervin Tiabo, Kathleen Moore, Cleveland McFarlane, Clive McFarlane, Lloyd McFarlane and Walter McFarlane; and her son-in-law Austin Biggus.
She is survived by: her children, Shelby Ashley (Patty) of Salt Lake City, Utah, Merrilyn Ashley-Biggus of Hiltons, Virginia and Loranda Distan (David) of Hancock, Maryland; her daughter-in-law Michelle Ashley; her grandchildren, Shelise, Anthony, Marcelis, Garrison, Alexandria, Morgan, Ashley and David; and her great grandchildren, Siahsha, Kvothe, Abigail, Rafael, Azara, Aria, Josephine and Zaphir.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Hagerstown Sda Church (11507 Robinwood Dr, Hagerstown, MD 21742). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
