She is survived by: her daughter Natalie; her son-in-law Scot Heinbaugh; her grandchildren, Evan West and Emma Smith; her husband Jack; Wesley Smith and Heather Mathews. She is also survived by her brothers, sisters, brother and sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews, colleagues and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to the Special Olympics of Maryland at P.O. Box 2157, Baltimore, MD, 21203-2157 in honor of Sharon West, whose life's work was devoted to advocating for children with special needs and helping every child reach their fullest potential.
