She was predeceased by: her parents, John A. Gilson and Helen M. Gilson; her husband Wallace D. Barlow; her stepsons, Douglas and Chris Barlow; and her siblings, John A. Gilson, Jr. (Jack) and Betty Hobbs.
She is survived by: her siblings, Paula Gilson Hunter and Michael J. Gilson; her stepdaughter Elizabeth Barlow; and her stepgrandchildren, Julia and Forrest Barlow. She is also survived by her family, friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Katharine Drexel Church, Frederick, MD.
