It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tyrone Thomas of Frederick, Maryland, who passed away on February 25, 2026, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Barker "Goose" Dixon and Clara D. M. Thomas Harris; his brother Franklin Harris; his stepfather William Harris Sr.; his grandmother Florence Wedge; his great-grandparents, Benjamin and Ada Ogle; his uncle Leonard Thomas; and his aunts, Erma Thomas, Regina Thomas and Thelma Jefferson.
He is survived by: his children, Maia Thomas and Trinell Thomas; his granddaughter Madison Thomas; his siblings, William Diggs, Gregory Thomas Sr., William Harris Jr. (Julie), Shelby Carmon (Timothy Sr.), Clara Bowens (Pastor Rex Sr.), Michael Harris (Pauline), Jeffrey Harris, Kenneth Dixon (Genetta) and Christopher Dixon (Jennifer); his aunt Willa Thomas (Patsy); his cousin Phillip Thomas (Pappy); and his close friend Sharon Bowie. He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, cousins, family members, and dear friends.
