He is survived by: his children, Phillip A. Rice (Krista) and Cynthia P. Bashore (Guy); his wife Kay Eury; and his grandchildren, Luke Rice (Hailey), Hannah Rice (Jason), Grant Rice, Nathaniel Beard, Olivia Beard, Ella Beard and Vance Bashore.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 6th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the All Saints Episcopal Church (106 E Church St, Frederick, MD 21701).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to All Saints Episcopal Church Outreach Fund.
