He was predeceased by: his wife Laura Bell Pritchard (Walters); his parents, Glenn Pritchard and Beatrice Pritchard (Heaton); and his siblings, Robert, Joan, Peggy and Glenda.
He is survived by: his sons, William A. Jr. (Debra), Robert J (Lisa) of Frederick, MD, Wade A. (Roberta) of Germantown, MD and Kevin D. Pritchard (Dawn) of Mt. Airy, MD; and his sister Vickie Robinson (James) of Rockville, MD. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hilton Funeral Home (22111 Beallsville Rd, Barnesville, MD 20838). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at the Parklawn Cemetery (12800 Veirs Mill Rd, Rockville, MD 20853).
