With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard W. Huggins of Freeland, Maryland, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 20, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Leroy (Poppy Rick) and Catherine Marie Huggins (Staehlin); his daughter Patricia Nicole "Nickie" Huggins; and his sister Janice Harris. He is survived by: his children, Catherine "Cate" Davis (Ryan) and Richard Huggins; his grandchildren, Jocelyn, Haley, Dominick, Sawyer and Joanie; his significant other Jean Sturdivant; his former wife Denice Huggins; William "Bill" Huggins (Jean Huggins), Linda Francis (Ron Francis) and Michael Huggins. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
