The family announces the passing of Hazel Wright of Friendsville, Maryland on September 2, 2026. Hazel, born on May 13, 1938, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Mosser and Alvena Mosser (Shank); and her son Michael Gordon Wright. She is survived by: her husband Gordon Lavern Wright; her children, Bradley Wright (Sabrina), Christopher Wright (Kari), Victoria Hall (Jim) and Rhonda Buckler (Pat); and her grandchildren, Bradley Wright, Jr., Angela March, Joshua Buckler, Brandon Buckler, Nicholas Buckler, Mikayla Wright and Elizabeth Caron. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Sunday, September 6th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, September 7th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Monday, September 7th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Hoyes United Methodist Church (143 Hoyes Rd, Friendsville, MD 21531).
