He is survived by: his mother Ann Smith (Hayhurst); his wife Marguerite Kelly Hayhurst; his son Michael (Malverie Coles); his stepchildren, Arianna Helms of Minneapolis, MN and Thomas (Kristina); his sisters, Tammie Young of Newberry, FL and Jodi Ann Walls of Winter Garden, FL; and his stepfather Earl Smith.
