He was predeceased by: his parents, Marshall Neilson and Sarah Neilson (Wellings); his former wife Norma Jean Neilson (Loar); and his siblings, Thelma Drew, Irvin Neilson, Clarence Neilson, Marshall "Junior" Neilson and Pearl Drew.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Helen Neilson (Myers); and his children, Rose Marie Deal, Dorothy Pase (Ronald), Stephen Neilson (Ann) and Kevin Neilson (Tracy). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the, Good News Assembly of God Church.
