It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dolores Carter of Frostburg, Maryland, who passed away on August 17, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Roy Garlitz; her husbands, Michael Hersick and Bernard "Bunny" Carter; her brother Roy Garlitz, Jr.; and her sister-in-law Lynda Garlitz.
She is survived by: her mother Teresa Garlitz of Avilton; her close friend Lee Wilt of Frostburg, MD; her siblings, Carl Garlitz of Cumberland, MD and Rita Bonner of Frostburg, MD; her pet Tannie; her nieces, Tina Warnick (Brian) of Avilton, MD and Amy Dunnington (Marty) of Conway, SC; her great-niece Randi Stafford of Denver, CO; her great-nephews, Trevor Warnick (Amber) of Grantsville, MD, Matthew Dunnington (Priscilla) of Round Hill, VA and Garrett Appel (Hannah) of Cumberland, MD; Cayden, Easton, Victor, Clayton, Isabella and Jane.
