It is with sadness that the passing of Florence Loraine Negley of Frostburg, Maryland is shared. Florence, born on August 28, 1930, passed away on September 11, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Carpenter Long and Oleta Clarissa Long (O'Baker); her husband Edward "Junior" Negley; her son Eddie Negley; her sister Margaret Ware; and her son-in-law Cliff Walls.
She is survived by: her children, Diane Walls, Larry Negley (Cheryl), Ronnie Negley (Kim) and Brenda Shaw (Craig); her grandchildren, David Sagal, Joshua Sagal, Kristin Sherman (Sagal), Amanda Householder (Negley), Matthew Negley, Christopher Negley, Michael Negley, Ryan Negley and Ashley Negley; and her sister Alma June Harris. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Durst Funeral Home (57 Frost Ave, Frostburg, MD 21532). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Egle Nursing home's, Activities Department.
