Linda left this world on October 28, 2025 at the age of 72, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Swauger and Virginia Swauger (Durst); her siblings, Bobby Swauger, Charlie Swauger and Mary Ann Garlitz; and her stepmother Stella Swauger.
She is survived by: her husband Charles Hetz; her children, Charles Richard Hetz (Melissa) of Finzel, MD, Travis Clinton Hetz of Finzel, MD and Stacy Lynn Pelcha (Bradley) of Golconda, IL; her daughter-in-law Katie Arnold; her brothers, Bill Swauger of Grantsville, MD and Wayne Swauger of Grantsville, MD; her grandchildren, Richard Hetz (Heather), Trent David Hetz, Aaron Hetz, Caiden Pelcha, Kaylee Pelcha, Aubrey Pelcha and Adalyn Pelcha; and her great grandchildren, Brantley and Levi Hetz.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Newman Funeral Homes (179 Miller St, Grantsville, MD 21536). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
