She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob James and Mary Jane Hess (Shannon); her husband George S; her son Denny; and her siblings, William Hess, Dorothy Hess and Mary Clark.
She is survived by: her sons, George (Lisa Hughes), Rick (Pam Hughes), Ken (Michele Hughes) and John (Aloe Hughes); her grandchildren, Josh Hughes, Kelly Hughes, Cassie Yates, Carrie Hughes, Jake Hughes, Rachel Hughes and Keolani Hughes; and her sister Peggy Woernle. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
