She was predeceased by : her parents, Ethel D. Brookley (Timbrook) and Conrad E. Brookley; her siblings, Charles Brookley and Eunice Reb; and her great grandchild Maeve Elizabeth Adams.

She is survived by : her husband Thomas Richards; her children, Pam Sweitzer (George), Cheryl Richards, Lisa Adams (John) and Leland Richards (Laura); and her grandsons, Kris Sweitzer (Sarah), Jonathan Adams (Mara), Grant Adams (Maria) and Ryan Adams.
